Curtis Howard - he/him - www.Curtis-Howard.com - Curtis is an NYC-based actor, dancer, mime, clown, theatre-maker, creative producer, and all-’round theatrical JOAT. You may have seen him touring New England, as a circus ringmaster with Hideaway Circus, as a back-up dancer for Anthony Rapp in the play Daedalus Lounge, regionally hating on Sierra Boggess in West Side Story, or most recently Off- Broadway dumping buckets of shit on Jamie Jackson’s Rupert Murdoch in Murdoch: the Final Interview. He is also a mime with the American Mime Theatre, the acting coach for the off-Broadway dance show Breakin' NYC, and the Creative Producer for Cole Jazz and the NEW Jack Cole Dancers!!! — premiering their next CLUB ACT at the Cutting Room May 2026…
When Curtis is not performing, he has found a home in NYC’s technical theater world, where he has been a tech director on dozens of off- and off-off-Broadway shows. He’s made costumes, masks, and headdresses for Ringling Bros. He serves as Production Manager/Tech Director for Theater Now New York and Operations Manager for Steps on Broadway; Set Designer/Choreographer for Face to Face Films, and House Manager for Theater 555, AND he makes some of the best sourdough you will ever have in your life… #ringmastersourdough
