The Mountain & Other Plays

Directed by Andy Rowell and me. The Mountain is my first mime play ever and premiering with the American Mime Theatre this April. The evening will consist of a series of mime plays with company members of the American Mime Theatre and based on work devised during the class playwrighting sessions.

A Dancing Play based on the life of Jazz Dance Pioneer Eugene Louis “Luigi” Facciuto, the creator of the world’s first Jazz Dance Technique.

After a car accident left him paralyzed, WWII Vet Eugene, rehabilitated himself to not only walk again, but dance in over 30 MGM movies, mentored by Gene Kelly, danced with Fred Astaire, with Ethyl Merman on B’Way, and taught his technique in NYC for 68 years.
